Retrofitted Glass Doors

With a need to improve electricity efficiency and cut rising operating costs, while maximising the service life of existing refrigerated display cabinets, IGA Moss Vale contacted Focus Doors.

The Focus Doors team took time to understand the supermarket’s needs and provided a quotation to retrofit display cabinet glass doors within 24 hours.

With customer ease and energy saving in mind, Vidro Frameless Glass Doors were recommended – not only because they provided the sought-after energy savings, but also because they retain distraction-free product display space. Optional additional LED lighting was included to enhance cabinet front displays.

Once approved, final measures were conducted and the doors were manufactured. Delivered to site by Focus Doors’ in-house delivery and installation team, 92 frameless doors were retro-fitted to the refrigeration display cabinets overnight to ensure minimal disruption.  

The refrigeration door refit has been a great success. The Moss Vale IGA team have been able to wind back their refrigeration use and reap energy-saving benefits. The sleek, contemporary doors have lifted the store aesthetic, giving customers the impression that a more extensive refurbishment has occurred. With improved store temperature control, shoppers enjoy a more comfortable shopping experience.
